Wastewater from sewage treatment plants, biogas or industrial plants contains a high proportion of valuable nitrogen and carbon compounds. Using solar or wind energy and our plasmalyser, a high-frequency voltage field is generated above the dirty water. This splits the carbon and nitrogen compounds contained in the water (such as urea, amino acids, nitrates and ammonium) into individual C, N, H and O atoms. They then combine again, and green hydrogen, methane or nitrogen are formed. Purified water remains as production "waste".
With the help of Graforce's membrane technology, the gases are separated and collected in gas containers for further use.
